Sensory is anything that envelopes the Childs senses in play. Smell, touch, sight, sound, taste. There's plenty of ways to incorporate this play, using bins, tables, pools, or mixing into everyday play. Every age has different needs in this, and as all kids are different, some sensory isn't for all. These are basic need fulfilling sensory tools:

Water
Coffee
Candy scents

Rice

Sand
Beads
Food coloring
Finger paint
Glitter
Radio/CDs
Bells
Musical instruments of all sorts
Spice jars
Different foods
Cloth/sand paper
Mirrors
